Rut No Mat Wa RaiZot De!!*

Greetings stinky humans!
This is the future of your worthless, pitiful lives! Death and slavery for the Glory of the Morat Supremacy!!! Oh, and the Evolved Intelligence!

The RaiZot (or Raicho, as it is called by forces from the Human Sphere) is a fairly average TAG. The main weapon is a multi-HMG and then there are two basic variants through a different secondary weapon system. One has a heavy flamer, which is never anything to stick your nose up at. The second has a heavy grenade launcher. Armour 8 and 3 structure points means you can expect similar from other no-frills TAGs in the same weight class. It is a little bit cheaper than similarly armed TAGs of the same weight class, although only by a few points.

The biggest thing it that the Morat Aggression Force can have two in their sectorial force. Taking two would be nice, but you can't have Imetrons in the Morat sectorial, so having two becomes more of a liability than a good idea. Cheap order ONLY happen in other factions.
Lacking in any form of Camouflage or ODD (Optical Disruption Device) means that unless you are hugging cover or hiding in smoke, there are no penalties, barring range, to shoot at you.

It was a pretty simple TAG to throw together though. It did need the arms and legs pinning though. I made a mistake in not attaching the 'puppeteer,' arms on until last. This was a big pain in the proverbial... I was swearing like a sailor in Orctown trying to attach those little blighters!

The biggest issue with the model is that it overhangs the base. A LOT! Similar with the Jotums and Dragoes, it is in dire need of needing a 50mm or a 60mm base and not a metal addition.

Here are some close up shots.

No secondary weapon as I am looking at adding them with a pin and hole method of attachment.

Yes, I am a sad nerd who wrote 'RaiZot' in Morat characters. I think I slightly got the method of writing them mixed up though. It appears that each syllable should be written vertically, top to bottom, instead of horizontally. this way looks prettier though.

I played around with a fireball effect or similar on the barrel of the multi-HMG. It looks better in person than in these photos.

The hair was really easy to do, but it does make me wonder why all of the  Morat have 80's metal hair?

Hope you like it. Comments, as always, are welcome.

Evolved Intelligence Assault Forces

Greetings,

Here is my almost completed EI models for infinity. I have an Avatar, Anathematic, Skiavaros, Ikadron and an Imetron (clockwise from top left).

A number of people have been appalled at my colour scheme for the Combined Army, but I like it to be honest. It is a matter of 'I can kill you while wearing anything. I am so secure with my superiority that I don't need to hide.'
Also it is funny when people get shot by something that is purple, pink and lime green.

Hey, hey, it's angry tridactyl monkeys..... with guns....

Greetings,

It's been a while and I was supposed to have put up a post with more Napoleonic goodies in it. Instead I have been painting some Infinity models pink and purple.

Here is a badly taken group shot photo. I do have another Morat model, but he came with a wrong piece. I'm going to bug Corvus Belli about that.

First off here are three Morat Vanguard Infantry. These guys are nothing too special. They have above average close combat ability and average shooting. these are pretty much used as cheerleaders (that is providing orders for the rest of the force). Although at 16pts each they are expensive in that regard.

Nest are the Kurgat Assault Engineers. The mammoth cannon is a portable autocannon. Damage 15, burst 2, AP+EXP. If the Kurgat can hit with it not many things are getting up again. A shame that they look very heavily armoured, but aren't.

Daturazi Witch Soldiers are rather juicy. Close combat orientated nutjobs with smoke grenades. I really need two more for two reasons. First off they are cheap. The cheapest model is only 14pts and secondly they can be formed into a link team.

Yaogat Strike Infantry. HERE COME THE VISORS!!! High close combat skill, above average ballistic skill, good armour, can be linked, multi-spectral visor level 2.... These guys are obnoxious. Shame that everyone else knows that and tries to kill them first if they are on the table.

Skiavoros, I've not played him yet, but he looks good. Plasma rifle option, and I do love this weapon. Can also be the lieutenant. Not too expensive either. I wish I could take more than one.

Finally the Anathematic. Not a TAG, but you could class him as a light TAG over the Heavy Infantry that he is. He is lots of fun to play with due to total optical camouflage, plasma rifle, valour: no wound incapacitation... You can stomp around the enemy lines with relative impunity unless visors appear. He also has a mono-filament weapon for ripping through things in close combat.

I am liking the change from Pan Oceania. I still have something similar to the Knightly Order's religious rule (I won't run away. You have to kill all of us), and high close combat skill (although I've never got into close combat. EVER). the changes are I get different shinies. If I don't go Morat Aggression Force I can include the Anathematic and the Skiavoros which gives me access to plasma and even a sepsitor. I have also had the chance to paint an obnoxious paint scheme.

Overall they are a lot of fun, but I need some jump infantry for them.

Hopefully I'll throw up another post soon.
