Here are the first two Dark Elf Blitzers that I have finished painting. These models take a hell of a long time to paint due to their detail. I can see why a lot of new gamers will steer clear of the Dark Elf range. They are pretty, but they aren't for the novice.

ReplyDeleteWith regard to eyes - as a general point, not one specific to this post - have you tried the suggested method of FTW? You know me and how dreadful my eyes are. But they have been improving since I started following FTW's injunction to paint the eye before the face.
ReplyDeleteNope. I did my usual thing of daubing the eyes on afterwards. I almost regretted doing it straight away since the red was so vibrant. After hitting it with an ink I was a bit more satisfied. The pictures look better as they are, not done to full size though.
