PanO Models. 8 finished 7 to go.

Greetings,

Here are the photos of the PanO that I promised in my previous post. I now have 5 Knights painted (Magister, Montesa, Teutonic, Santiago and Hospitalier), a Bagh Mari, a Specialist Order Sergeant and a Trauma Doc (Flo).

They are all painted in a similar scheme, the only real variation is with the cloth pieces on the non-Knight miniatures. The fatigues, straps and beret are painted either with Catachan Green or Charadon Granite. A Badab Black ink was added liberally over most of the models to highlight and other things. I will say that they look much better in the flesh. Any photo I take fails to do the model justice.

I will say that Flo is one of the most hated miniatures at Orctown where Infinity is concerned. She did lose her first patient, but in a single game she went on a healing and climbing rampage, AFTER shooting a Tiger Warrior in the face and killing him. She healed one guy, climbed up 3". Healed a second guy and climbed up 3". She then did the same a third time. Fell down one floor, no harm. Fell down a second floor, no harm. Then she went to heal someone else in the following turn.
Even though I lost the game to my opponent (the certain German gentleman who introduced me to this game) and whom said many bad things about my PanO and especially Flo. I did much more damage, but I failed to get the objectives. Ho-hum... It was a good game none-the-less.

Hopefully I will put up photos of my newly painted Piggies, Khador and Retribution next time.

No Photos as of yet, but an update!

Greetings,

I apologise, again, for the lack of posts. I have been hellishly busy though.

I have fully painted another 5 PanO. I have painted 3 Knights, a Medic and a Bagh Mari. I am still using a similar scheme to my three prior models. I am going to have a unified colour scheme throughout all of the models, even if they are from different Military Orders. I am likely to be taking Teutonic Knights and Magister Knights instead of the other Orders as they are more flexible and with the Teutons not having Cubes they are less likely to be Sepsitored.

I have painted some of my Retribution, 2 Battle Mages. I like the red and orange scheme complimented by the purple.

I also managed to paint Brine and a second War Hog for my Farrow. I’m not sure about the weapon colours for the War Hog. They are too dark compared to the haft and the rest of the metal of the cleavers. Brine looks good in comparison, but I’m not a fan of bits of the model. The chains on the wrists and the single trotter that the entire model is balancing upon are my main issues.

I have started a Goblin all-spider army. I am looking at 4 units of Spider Riders, a flinger Arachnarok, Goblin Shaman Lord on Arachnarok, BSB on a Giant Spider and three Goblin Big Bosses on Giant Spiders. I still have 146pts to spend on magic items, which is going to be interesting. I am slightly annoyed at the fact that I can’t take Goblin Shamans on spiders, apart from the HUGE ones.
